Bill has lived in and around Santa Barbara for a number of years. He has a wide range
of personal experience with various living options. He has lived at Hillside House
(a large ICF), has been involved with Project Independence, and was one of the first people
chosen for the CSLA (Community Supported Living Arrangements) projects in 1993.
Since that time, he has been served by two different supported living agencies. In 1997, he
submitted his personal service design to Tri-Counties Regional Center so that he might
become his own service provider. His plan was approved in the fall of 1998, and
he began providing his own supported living services on February 1st, 1999.
