Who
we are . . . .
CIRCL is a network of people who have many years
of experience with supported living, people who have experience…….
¨
using
supported living services themselves;
¨
providing
services through SLS agencies;
¨
being vendored
and coordinating their own or a family member’s services;
¨
setting up and
supporting services from a regional center’s perspective;
¨
planning
services and supports.
Who
we serve . . . .
CIRCL provides services
throughout California and other places to ...
...
people with disabilities ...
families ... regional centers ... service providers ... advocacy groups
and others interested in making supported living services work better for
people.
What
we do . . . .
CIRCL
assists people to think
about, start up, and improve supported living services for people with disabilities. We do this by offering ……
information
consultation
training
mentoring.
We provide
assistance through our coordinators or we will help connect people with someone
else who has faced the same problems and can share practical ideas and
solutions.
How
we are funded . . .
CIRCL
provides some services
through a grant from California’s Department of Developmental
Services. This grant allows us to
offer many services for free or at low cost to people in California. Services
outside of our D.D.S. contract can be purchased by direct payment to CIRCL.
How
to contact us . . . .
